Rafael Godoy Rubio received the MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Málaga (Spain), and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Granada, Granada, in 2001 and 2005, respectively. From 2002 to 2005, he was with the Group of Electromagnetics of Granada. Then he was awarded with a postdoctoral fellowship to join the Department of Communication Engineering of the University of Málaga, where he is currently an assistant professor. His research interests are mainly numerical methods applied to the simulation of nanophotonic devices.
