J. M. Ávila Ruiz received the Ingeniero Técnico de Telecomunicación B.Sc degree in 2006 and the Ingeniero de Telecomunicación M.Sc degree in 2010, from the Universidad de Málaga, Málaga, Spain. In 2012, he received a FPI scholarship to carry out his Ph.D. studies in microwave telecommunications, in the Universidad de Málaga, in which he is currently involved. His research interest is in the area of microwave communications, oscillators and phase noise.
