Alejandro Sánchez Sánchez is a PhD student at the University of Málaga. He has experience in the design and simulation of integrated photonic structures, with a special focus on Bragg filters and Fabry-Pérot cavities. He has conducted a research stay at the Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, where he worked on the experimental characterization of these structures. His academic trajectory has been recognized with the Extraordinary End of Studies Award and the Best Final Degree Project Award from the University of Málaga. He is currently working on inverse design techniques for the development of high-performance devices through the implementation of metamaterials.
