Ana Sánchez Ramírez obtained her degree and master’s in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Málaga, Spain. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Photonics & RF Research Lab at the University of Málaga. Her research focuses on the development of integrated photonic biosensors for detecting very low concentrations of analytes, with the goal of improving early diagnosis in biomedicine. Her expertise spans from the design and simulation of biosensors to their experimental characterization. She has collaborated on research projects to enhance the performance of these devices and holds a patent, as well as publications and presentations at prestigious international conferences.
