Luis Zavargo Peche received the MSc in Telecommunications Engineering from Málaga University (Spain) in 2007. He was working as a mobile test engineer in AT4 wireless from 2005 until 2008, when he was awarded a scholarship to carry out his PhD Thesis supervised by Dr. J. G. Wangüemert-Pérez. In 2012, he obtained the PhD degree from Málaga University with his research on integrated photonic devices analysis using Fourier series. He has been a visiting scientist in the Institute of Photonics and Electronics, AS CR in Prague, supervised by Prof. Dr. Jiri Ctyroky. His main research activities are: i) Modelling and simulation of integrated photonic devices ii) design of integrated photonic devices.
